Remove Tags

Removes the tags from the selected text. If no text is selected, all tags from the current document are removed.

Convert Selection to HTML

Converts the selected text to HTML.

Scan For Illegal Characters

Scans your document for any characters that would be considered illegal by HTML standards. Illegal characters are 8 bit characters and a few 7 bit characters.

Scan For Valid Tags

Checks the validity of the tags in your current document. Note: The checking World Wide Web Weaver does is no better than the average spell checker, though it will find the most common mistakes.

Open URL…

Opens a URL using the correct Internet client. Note: You must have Internet Config installed to use this feature.

Insert Time

Inserts the current time in your document.

Insert Date

Inserts the current date in your document.

Edit Simple Tags

Allows you to easily create, edit and delete format tags and special character tags.

Scan Document for Special Characters

Allows you to automatically scan your document for non-standard characters (special characters) and to replace them with their equivalent HTML tag (if available).
Note: The characters " & < > will NOT be translated. 

Scan Document For Tags

Allows you to automatically scan your document for tags and to label them in the font, size, style and color specified in the preferences window (see 'Preferences' under the 'Edit' menu).

Preview Document

Allows you to use your world wide web browser to preview your current document.
